Nature + Nurture Collective is a family-owned AND WHOLEHEARTEDLY CRAFTED, outdoor enrichment program serving children ages 5–12 (k-6th) in South Orange County, California. Our mission is to inspire children to find and foster a love for nature, and nurture their essential life skills through engaging outdoor experiences, within our coastal culture community.

Meet Our founder
Howdy! I’m Daniele, founder of Nature + Nurture Collective—and the proud mama in this photo.
As a second-generation Southern California native, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the the outdoors. My journey has included studying child psychology, working as a preschool teacher, and leading Outdoor youth groups.
most importantly though, raising and homeschooling my own children has been my greatest, most rewarding, as well as challenging, role i've ever been blessed with.
After years of watching my own children flourish through outdoor adventures, i felt called to create a place where other families could experience the same joy, and connection.
Nature + Nurture Collective was born from a simple belief: children thrive when they’re given the freedom to explore, create, move, and learn in the natural world.
i believe childhood should be filled with muddy boots, salty air, curious questions, helping hands, laughter, adventure, lasting friendships, and the confidence to grow into the person they were created to be.

OUR PROGRAM FEATURES
Explore our enriching program offerings Where we will meet once a week IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS throughout SOUTH OC, with our home base site at Rancho Farmland within rancho las lomas. THis program is a collective of great resources and teachings designed to inspire and engage young minds, hearts and hands. Each feature throughout our days together promote character development, a deep appreciation for COMMUNITY AND the natural world. below are just a few examples of what your children will enjoy with us throughout the year.
Nature studies Exploration &
Stewardship
Children embark on adventures from coast to canyon, learning about the ever changing seasons, ecosystems, life cycles, conservation, agriculture, local species, and habitats. all of nature's extraordinary gifts, and how its all connected.
Handwork bushcrafting & creative Movement
Through creative play, hikes, games, ART, archery, fishing, yoga, martial arts, dance, music, sewing, and many other forms of dynamic movement. while using both sides of the brain, children develop physical skills and enhance their creativity in crafting in the great outdoors.
Survival &
Practical Life Skills Development
Our hands-on activities teach essential life skills, such as communication,
breath work, mindfulness, nature and self reliance, navigation, tracking, foraging, NOURISHMENT, teamwork, problem-solving, and character development.
